toot, toot!

I’m not a fan of tooting my own horn, but I’ve decided that it’s okay to let a few of my (amazing! perfect! totally reasonable!) clients do it for me:

Carin Agiman will be your muse. She will manifest your vision and make you the artist you always wish you were, converting your company’s vision like a prophecy at Macchu Picchu or Sinai for the viewer to receive and respond viscerally. Don’t let her get away.
— Rabbi Lori Shapiro, Open Temple
Carin is a truly rare graphic designer - One who really listens to a client to grok their vision, then has the perfect balance of artistic chops, exceptional taste and practical skills to deliver the goods. All this, while being a pleasure to work with.
— Dan Friedman, Fresh Take Comics & Culture
When I began discussing an art commission with Carin, to fit a specific place in our house and to capture one of my favorite subjects, a tree, I was nervous about expressing what I wanted. Carin is brilliant at executing so many different types of art from hyper-realistic to whimsical to pop and so much more. The possibilities seemed endless. I clumsily told her ‘realistic but not too realistic’. Luckily, Carin is Carin and took that ridiculously unspecific request and brought her wealth of creativity, insightfulness, playfulness and craftsmanship to the piece. I was blown away when I saw her initial rendering, which she kindly made to make sure we were on the same page. It was more beautiful and moving than I could have ever asked for. There are realistic elements, and yet it captures in its magical realism a reality about time and the Earth that could not be captured in a straight forward sketch. Carin was able to understand my desire for the piece on a whole other level than I was aware of. She is a brilliant artist and I would highly recommend her for any subject in your heart that you hope to have in your home, or any visual representation of your product or company. She is truly incredible.

There is no one I trust more to help me convey and express my life’s work. Carin’s artistic talent, keen eye for detail, and her way with words are seen throughout my practice including my logo, website, brochures and more. I know I can always rely on Carin and that’s pretty priceless these days.

I asked Carin to design a website and logo for a vintage photographic recovery organization I founded a few years ago. Her enthusiasm and affection for the project saturated every aspect of her work with just the spirit I was looking for. Carin is a ray of sunshine and her effort illuminated and clarified the historic information on my site while sparking the viewers’ interest and emotion.

Carin is so great to work with! She’s fun, so positive and a great listener. I’d work with her again in a heartbeat! She helped me brainstorm ideas for a logo, articulate what I liked and didn’t like and she eventually created something that was exactly what I wanted (even if I felt I had no idea what I wanted in the beginning).
— Hélène Goupil, Little Things Documentaries
Carin takes a truly personal interest in her projects. She quickly understands and gives life to the design process. I would like to give my sincere thanks and appreciation for all her imagination, wit and hard work. I engaged Carin to provide all branding for my company, to design and maintain my website and any other print or marketing materials I may need. She is able to quickly get things accomplished without explaining the nuances every time we work on a new project. The best part is her ability to interpret what I give her and turn it into great work! We have been working with Carin now for 8 years and I plan on another 8!

TESTIMONIAL FOR THE ABOVE TESTIMONIALS

These testimonials are so good they deserved their own testimonial. I’ve read them over and over, and I think they’re the cleverest, most genuine, most creative (and shamelessly flattering) testimonials I’ve ever come across. The only thing I love more are the people who wrote them!
